The False Gospel of the Enemies Within the Church

March 27, 2022

By Janet Levy

Christianity has been intricately intertwined with the history and development of America and greatly contributed to its strength. Judeo-Christian morality, in fact, has been the compass and one of the most powerful influences on Western society. So, the Marxists see Christianity as the main obstacle to overthrowing Westphalian principles of sovereignty. To them, the church is the most crucial institution to conquer to usher in the New World Order. They know that if the churches fail – especially in America, which represents the phenomenal success of capitalism and individualism – the entire culture, including politics, will move to the Left.

Most Americans will be surprised to learn that an unholy crusade to infiltrate the bastions of Christianity and co-opt churches in the revolution began more than a hundred years ago. It is now threatening to gain critical mass.

This danger is the subject of a new film, Enemies Within the Church, produced by Cary Gordon, Trevor Loudon, and Judd Saul. It chronicles the destructive infiltration of the churches and the injection of “wokeism” -- Marxism, social justice, Critical Race Theory, gender fluidity – into church doctrine. The choir of radical Left ideology, having targeted and gradually co-opted the media, Hollywood, Big Tech, the unions, and the political parties, set its sights on penetrating and controlling the churches, a difficult, long-term endeavor. And, as the film explains, the communists eventually succeeded in penetrating the Bible colleges, seminaries, and pulpits of many denominations to push Christianity in the direction they want.

The two-hour 12-minute movie traces this insidious attack on the churches to as far back as the days of the Bolshevik revolution, when American communists and socialists began plotting to upend the Republic. It attempts to answer the question of how America has devolved from the philosophy of the Founding Fathers – that “the individual gives the state the right to exist” – to a statist or communist Weltanschauung. It references 20 years of research by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) that determined that America’s strength lay not in its military or its government but in the churches.

In his book Civilization, Niall Ferguson mentions the words of a CASS scholar, “We have realized that the heart of your culture is your religion: Christianity. That is why the West has been so powerful. The Christian moral foundation of social and cultural life was what made possible the emergence of capitalism and then the successful transition to democratic politics.” The Chinese rightly concluded that the Bible is anti-Marxist and anti-statist, and to destroy America from within, the infiltration of the church was essential.

America was founded on Mosaic Law, which G-d gave the Israelites through Moses. A key concept deriving from this is that human rights come directly from the Creator to the people, who can choose government representatives to protect these rights. As Mosaic law established the principles that the Jews could do anything not specifically denied to them, the new American government, which codified the Ten Commandments into its Constitution, applied that principle to the idea that individual states can do anything not specifically denied to them.

The film cites the first attempt to transform the church, initiated by a Communist group founded in 1907 – the Methodist Federation for Social Action, whose purpose was to redirect the focus of the church to the suffering of the working class. The organization supported labor unions, tarred capitalism as “unchristian” and advocated an economic system based on central planning. It also spoke for the erasure of privilege and discrimination based on class or group identity.

The film also exposes another influential subversive – Dr. Joseph Fletcher, a graduate of the Berkeley Divinity School and a self-proclaimed “democratic socialist” who taught at the Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, MA, and the Harvard Divinity School from the mid-1940s to the seventies. His work in the church centered on social justice and workers’ rights. Fletcher helped establish Planned Parenthood, the Soviet-American Friendship Society, and the Society for the Right to Die. He became a leader in the field of bioethics, which he used to justify abortion and euthanasia. In 1966, contrary to church doctrine and teachings, he wrote Situation Ethics, advancing the idea that “there is no fixed morality, morality depends on the situation or circumstances” – a justification for abandoning the Bible. He was one of the most influential pastors in the U.S. and actively supported the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) – the main Soviet front of the day. He transformed the church to accept the idea that ethics are flexible, and eventually abandoned Christianity for atheism.

The film also details another major subversion achieved by the communists – the radical transformation of the conservative Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA. Through the 1970s, infiltrators succeeded in changing the institution’s focus from understanding and communicating the Bible to changing social structures supplanting the fundamentals of the Christian faith with “Neo-Evangelism” or direct engagement with the culture.

Another selling out of the Gospel documented in the film is the 1973 Chicago Declaration on Evangelical Social Concern, signed by 53 evangelicals, among them Carl F.H. Henry, Frank Gaebelein, Jim Wallis, John Perkins, Rich Mouw, and Ron Sider. The declaration attacked the “materialism of American culture and the maldistribution of the nation’s wealth and services.” It called for the rebalancing of trade and international inequities, the rethinking of American values, and the equitable redistribution of resources. If that sounds familiar, it is because it’s an early version of what the social justice warriors demand today.

Enemies Within the Church features interviews with traditional theologians who are befuddled and angered by the move away from Biblical justice, defined by G-d, to social justice, defined by man. They are taken aback by the representation of Jesus as a socialist. They say that while G-d holds us accountable for our moral choices and actions as individuals, social justice warriors demand our accountability for the actions of our government and for overall fairness and equitable outcomes in society. They note that pastors now liberally use terms like “intersectionality,” “critical race theory,” and “white privilege” and have brought BLM into the church.

Today, seminaries typically teach that what is central to understanding G-d in America is race, because racism is central to America. As one theologian put it, the Church has “swapped the Biblical vision for a just society with a humanistic, relativistic, false gospel – changing the truth into a lie.” Race reconciliation, liberation theology, the concept of a White Jesus – these were never a part of Christianity. Instead of all people being created in the image of G-d, accountable for their own sins, the social justice gospel harangues Americans that designated groups bear responsibility for the sins or actions of individuals.

The subversion of the Church has meant that religious terms have been redefined and recontextualized. The film shows how seminaries have now become places to deconstruct Christian truth, thereby leading people away from G-d and Christ. One heretical doctrine that’s gaining ground – antinomianism – claims that Christians are exempt from the obligations of the Ten Commandments and that feelings are more significant than facts. Churches are now embracing LGBTQ in contravention of Christian doctrine and pastors are even repenting for past Biblical positions that rejected homosexuality. Traditional clerics maintain that without the law of G-d to lean on, situationalism fills the void: right and wrong are decided not by ethics but by the cynical evaluation of the potential consequences of a decision.

The creators of Enemies Within the Church present a scenario in which Christianity has been deconstructed and subverted to facilitate the takeover of the nation. Shorn of its moral teachings, the Church now hardly resembles what it once was. But there is hope. Networks of pastors are organizing to contest what is happening on the nation’s pulpits and in its seminaries and religious colleges. The film is an attempt to strengthen their resolve and grow the ranks in the fightback to restore Christianity – and thus the nation – to its original and intended form.

Religion, one of the four horns (powers) of Zechariah 1. The other three horns, Education, Politics, Economy, being used as well to bring in the NWO beast system by the locust army of Joel. Like the locust, they've worked underground (hidden) for a long time but they're openly working now. just my $0.02

Is Satan’s really "THE BAD GUY".
The worst he does in the Bible is torture poor old Job and murder his ten children.
But then God explicitly let’s him do it - they’re running a bet up in heaven to see if he would remain faithful. Read Job 1.

God takes full responsibility for all the horrible stuff, not Satan -
Isaiah 45:7: “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.”

the apostasy of the american church is legendary.
those that came did not all have good intention, that is the part we forget. We also need to recognize the invention of all the men clubs was a luciferian movement begun by the harlot, no matter the club, name ANY club, they all lead away from God and back to the mystery forbidden knowledge egyptian/pagan cults.

they are tailored for the groups, the catholic knights of columbus, rosecricians etc, or the protestant masonic, skull and bones, etc.

they all lead AWAY from God as you move up in the ranks...they came here soon after the mayflower, to claim this county for rome.

LOOK at WDC and rome....the layout is the same...
read "rulers of evil" by tupper saussy

it is all about feelings, and some have no faith to move a grain of sand, and no knowledge of the Word.

many have a bible they haven't opened in 30 years...
many think the know God, though they never talk to Him
never listen to Him,
and seldom agreed with His Word, which IS HIM.

the church is not making disciples of men....
making a disciple is a laborious process that takes years...

YEARS in most cases.

the remnant needs to weep, and repent for the rest, only God can change this...

years ago, a book came out called Hot Tub Religion...

the difference between a babe in christ and a false convert is lost on many....

and this is what gives the remnant a bad name....

can we blame the world if they don't want what we have when SOMEHOW pastors keep showing up as faGS AND PEDOS???

until some stand for truth.....even in churches asleep it will not change.

we have been sold false concepts....like once saved always saved.

but when Jesus said "I will remove your name from the book of life" He was saying we could lose our salvation....

the idea that we can not keep on sinning...or we trample on the blood...etc. are never mentioned...the pulpit should be positive, but can not be positive by ignoring the warnings God gives us which are too numerous for words.

"you say you are alive but you are dead and naked"

applies to us, not just the harlot church in Rome.

ecumenism leads to accepting the unsaved, not born again, as equals.

Calvin did this, when back to sacrimentism, and started burning at the stake those without an infant baptismal certificate.
He became known as the Pope of Geneva because he killed as many as did the pope.

the more you learn of our actual history, and what todays churches have adopted....the more you will RUN for the exits.

here is a good site for younger believers
its important that we look at everything and every body

since we can all be deceived if we are not careful.

I really was stunned by his recent expose on C.S. Lewis....it is stunning

Oh, oh . . . . . anytime I see these Progressive Bible-thumping charlatans on here talking about "apostasy" and "false gospels" and "enemies within the church" . . . I know the witch burnings are not far behind.

In Torsaker, Sweden they beheaded 70 "witches" at one time before burning them. They killed so many at one time that they had to behead them away from the wood so the blood would not make the pyres hard to light.

There was a with burning in Bamberg that included so many "witches" that the melted fat from their bodies pooled in the cobblestones. Some of it rose in the air and was deposited downwind. The people had to scrape it off the sides of their houses.

0001burning-times-tv-big.jpg

I think these self-anointed "good Christians" on this forum would love a repeat of all that.

as I said, when explaining why I felt the need to give up on the churches, it seems they start out well, and devolve, perhaps because the body doesn't pray for the leader as they should.

I watched men of God go from really being on fire for God, turning then to serious, serious sins.
Pride, adultery, trangenderism, pedo stuff, you name it. Even when all their elders tell them to stop, they seldom listened....it seems the sin of pride comes upon most who are given power

When I started out, the idea was, go to a bible college, but as soon as I went to praying about this, a huge check came...

instead, I used 2 tools, the bible, and the Strong's concordance. For the first 20 years of study, that was it.

that was IT. By learning the actual words, and which translations were corrupt, I came to understand why commentaries as well as many translations are dangerous.
It is not because they can't be helpful, it is because the more we listen to men rather than to God, the more we will depart from pure religion.
Are some anointed to teach etc. YES, but when you see them fall...you wonder, is this part of the problem, that they listened to too many voices, and not the One above all others?.

One can spend an hour reading and meditating upon the word, or an hour listening to anothers ideas about all that, but one verse stands out.

Paul said, "you will have no need that ANY man should teach you, for the HOLY Spirit HIMself will teach you.

when we see Luther, who held onto anti-semitism, or Calvin who hung onto sacramentism,
we see that even supposely brilliant men can undo all the good they did once pride gets in there.

Even though the Word says the exact opposite, they will think they are right because they've been convinced by "an angel of light" which is often just their own desire to appear wise, or more tolerant, thinking that they know best; not recognizing that elitism of any ilk is still pride at its root.

recently, there was a bible which dropped a phrase.
the phrase was "do not be angry without a cause."
this version dropped the "without a cause" part.

what that did is it told every christian to be docile at all times. It told them being angry was wrong.
but the bible said, don't be angry without a cause. Yes we are not to hold on to anger, yes we are to forgive, but we are allowed to get angry WITH a righteous cause. In fact, NOT to ever get angry, is NOT healthy or logical.

This dropping of the 3 words made Jesus look like a sinner, since he got angry, called people hypocrites, turned over tables, etc etc.
whereas the scripture says, the zeal for HIS (God's) House consumed Him...

in other words, just one little tweak (which then made folks think they could NOT have a very important emotion....made them more controllable to a controlling church. They could not defend others, because they could not get angry even over things wherein they SHOULD have....this is what began the pacifist movement,

The Lord God Himself got angry, over injustice, over genocide, infanticide and sodomy, etc.
The Lord Himself called things abominations and perverse for a REASON...the reason...THEY ARE perverse.

The remnant must wake up not just to the beauty of the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ,
who Spirit, and whose sacrifice can save our souls,
but the remnant must ALSO wake up to the fact that not all things that are called good now, are good.
Not all things called evil or intolerant are that.

The remnant must learn to stand for truth, no matter the cost. Because being a voice in the wilderness, crying "make straight the paths of the Lord" is part of the Spirit of God, and one we ALL should possess.

A gospel that does not teach and require repentance, is a false gospel. The gospel begins with folks KNOWING they are sinners and need God, and need His forgiveness.

the passover cups BTW teach the same concepts, 1. I will cover you,(protected from death thru becoming aware there is a God) 2. bring you out (deliver you miracullously/repentance thru the water, thru the sea, i.e. baptism), 3. redeem you thru the gift of faith (faith in what He did, messiah's own shed blood) and 4. make you Kodesh/Holy (thru my Spirit)

the original passover had these 4 concepts of what conversion really was. aware (invited), washed (baptized) 3. His death, faith alone in His sacrifices NOT in our efforts but His 4. born, borne of the spirit, born again, by a new spirit, the importation of God's own spirit, the spirit we lost in the fall, being re-granted to the sons of adam as they come to their messiah, the Savior of the entire world.

There is salvation given in NO OTHER NAME,
there is no other name given, in the heavens, or on the earth, by which man may be saved.

SO, Sans the Herods of the world, sans whether they Hated HIM, and will Hate YOU as well, sans whether we keep our heads or loose them,

we need to see what Paul was getting at when he says ALL are now priests. ALL means all.
he said, there is NO distinction in the spirit, not male or female, not black or white, no free or enslaved, every believer is equal, and every believer is a priest/priestess.
The job of a priest IS TO INTERCEDE....is to make sacrifices for the people, acceptable to God.
this is why Jesus said follow me, put you back to the plow...because it is our efforts that help folks find the Lord.

and priests also had to speak the Word of the Lord, share it.....warn. the spirit of prophecy was NOT just to predict future, it was to WARN against sin....always to warn against sin. With trembling we are told, since we are also subject to falling, no one is won where humility is absent.

the main idea is "if you do not warn them, then their blood will be on YOUR hands" was a pronouncement God gave to His prophets.
the other main idea is to make disciples...we were never told to make someone say a prayer, then pat them on the head and send them on their way. We were told to MAKE disciplined ones of them.
In other words, we were told to take them under our wings, as if they were orphans left on a doorstep....who would need food and water and to learn to walk....

the Word says, all believers have the spirit of prophecy. It says that the testimony of Jesus Christ IS the spirit of prophecy.
Therefore, all believers are prophets, and the job of the prophet is to WARN, to stand for truth, to weep when folks are going into perdition, to plead with God for workers for the harvest....
to not release them to the devils...if there be any other way.

there is no other way, than to bring up baby, one new beleiver at a time. This is the work of the remnant, This is the neglected message in America.

the cup, not taken from us, is the same cup offered to Christ, to lay down His life for a dying perishing world.
He who follows me, must pick up his cross and follow Me; he who will not deny himself, is not worthy of Me, and so forth.

the trick is, to fall in LOVE with the Lord FIRST, because He is LOVE, and He only speaks the truth...

once He becomes our best friend, our husband, our Lord....we no longer care whether others like or agree with us...we KNOW who has the truth. Joy unspeakable and full of Glory is ours. This is the inheritance of the children of the Lord, a rhelm that only those in it can know of. Blessed be His Name!

"will you also leave Me" Jesus once asked.
"where Lord, where would we go? YOU have the Word of Truth." was their answer.

to a dying world, we the church apologize. We are sorry, and repent, that we did not present our Lord well, that we did not bear with weak or new brothers or sisters well, that we did not teach the basics well enough to ground others on the rock of our salvation.

we repent, in sackcloth and ashes, and ask God to give us a chance to yet be conformed to His Image.
Amen.

Assuming that The Bible is The Word of God, it should not have used metaphors.
It should have been direct so that all can understand no matter where they are from.

The Bible is a book of faith.

Why do people INSIST, that it's something other than, what it is?

So why is it that the heresy hunter is so fixated?

Let's suggest at least two possible impulses.

Theological agenda heresy hunting: this is the heresy hunting which is motivated by a principled commitment to a particular theological paradigm. In other words, theological agenda heresy hunting reflects the desire of the hunter that everybody conform to his theological vision.

Personal vendetta heresy hunting: as you can imagine, this is the hunting that is motivated by personal anger against an individual and for that reason is even worse than theological agenda heresy hunting.

Finally, we should note how quickly and naturally the heresy hunting driven by a theological agenda can devolve into one driven
(at least in part) by a personal vendetta. This naturally occurs when the attempt to identify a failure of conformity to a theological agenda is rebuffed.

Picture, for example, that Pastor B comes to a new church. It is not long before he realizes why the last pastor left. On Monday morning he receives a long email from the head deacon explaining all the alleged indictable theological offenses in his first sermon. Let’s say that this first shot across Pastor B bow is purely an instance of theological agenda heresy hunting based upon the deacon’s conviction that everyone must conform to his pet theological vision.

Pastor B then writes an email back to the deacon, politely thanking him for his concern while basically rebuffing his concerns. From the moment the deacon reads the response his initial objection begins to morph into the much more acerbic personal vendetta. “How dare Pastor B not take my concerns seriously!”

Speaking of pastors, How many have been victimized by the attacks of the heresy hunters. Professors are frequent targets. Anybody in a position of teaching or leadership in a church or parachurch ministry is a live target. And yet, the saddest irony is that far from securing the doctrinal purity the heresy hunters claim to want, their attacks are more likely to poison theological discourse and fracture communities with a McCarthyite paranoia that is absolutely devastating to the health and witness of the church.

And there lies your problem. You're blind to your own arrogance.

You say, "we know who has the Truth" , , , , but in reality, you're telling us that because you've fallen in love with God, YOU KNOW THE TRUTH TOO.

You've convinced yourself that you walk in the light of Truth and spout Truth to anyone listening. But the Buffalo shooter was convinced of the same thing. Read his manifesto. John Brown was convinced. Hitler was convinced. Pol Pot was convinced.

buffalo-shooter.jpg

And the Inquisition was convinced.

That's why, the Founding Fathers did not want people like you to make decisions for others and so they instituted a formal separation of Church and State.

To believe that you know what God holds as Truth is to believe that you are as God is.

Can't you see the arrogance of that?

The rejection of ultimate sources of meaning and truth. Many philosophers and literary theorists of the twentieth century have come to doubt that meaning and truth can be traced to any ultimate sources, whether this is “reality” in a material/naturalistic sense or an internal subject/ego in a Freudian or phenomenological sense. Truth is either interpreted as a kind of effect of larger systems of knowledge and language (or discourse, as it more commonly is called) or it is interpreted in a pragmatic sense as what simply works at any particular moment. In both cases, knowledge is seen as a system (or more commonly a set of systems) that are free-floating—they have no foundation, no correspondence with any absolute reality.

“How do you know that is true?”
“Where do you get your information?”
“What if you are wrong?”

“Where do you get your information?” Answer: The Bible, KJV version, is the most reliable translation.

“How do you know that is true?”

Trust and have faith in the Lord Jesus, he is the truth. Here is a link to verses of the Bible about the Holy Spirit.

Read these verses, yet you have to have faith in Christ to understand these verses because of the Holy Spirit.

If you want to change your understanding of Jesus, you have to have faith in Jesus and his death on the cross for the sins of all people, including yourself, you must know that you are not a good person, no one is because we all sin and you need to feel badly about your sins, repent and want to change and ask Jesus for forgiveness and believe that his Father God in heaven after three days raised Jesus from death to life. Ask Jesus to reveal himself to you.

That's my answer and I am sticking to it.

Language is not something that reveals, but constructs. We have a nasty habit of seeing language as a kind of lens through which we see the internal thoughts of others; through stories told by people, he have some notion that we can actually reach out to past times to see how they “really” were. All this is an illusion, however. In postmodernist terms, language is not transparent; we cannot see through it. Instead, language works a little bit perhaps like a view-finder (you know, the kids’ toy). It constructs the illusion of being a view into another world, but in fact there is nothing beyond the language. Language works at a very basic level to construct meaning for us; and, in turn, we use language to construct the reality around us.
